Competitions

All recorded music should be on an otherwise empty USB/flash. The USB with your one piece of music on it will be returned to you. Don’t forget to have a backup copy in case there are problems.
 

The Professional Competition has two heats. For the heats you are expected to prepare not more than 5 minutes of recorded music, of your choice, that you will perform to. 

The winners will be announced, and prizes awarded later the same evening.  Finalists will dance to Randa’s orchestra and will be given time for a short rehearsal. All contestants are asked to bring a list of 5 well-known Egyptian songs that they are very familiar with. Randa will choose one from each finalist’s list for them to perform to in the final round. 

This will be done after the last heat, so please have your lists ready.

The Rising Star Competition will also take place and the winners will be announced, and prizes awarded.
